I love creating handcrafted personalized jewelry and accessories and am excited to create something meaningful for you! All pieces have been designed and created by me in my studio. No 2 pieces are alike. I use metal stamps to make impressions on the chosen metal and different texturing hammers and tools to create the desired patterns and effects. Each piece will be created one at a time from stamping, texturing, oxidizing and hand polishing as chosen and designed for you with my own 2 hands. Every piece is truly unique, one of a kind and handcrafted.

Current Production Time

Our current production time is approx 2-3 WEEKS before your order is ready to ship as I lovingly hand make each piece myself.

Production times are before your piece will ship from my studio in Barrie, ON, Canada. Shipping times depend on your location. It's a long wait but it will be worth it to own something meaningfull, handcrafted and one of a kind.

All orders ship with standard shipping through Canada Post and USPS. Standard shipping does not include tracking or insurance. If you would like to add tracking and insurance to your order, please add expedited shipping to your order, please see the direct link below.

Occasionally, placing a last minute order is neccessary and I may be able to work overtime hours to complete your request. Please check with me first to see that I can meet your timeline. To complete a rush order does not have me push your order to the front of the production line but has me complete your order during overtime hours. The cost for a rush upgrade is $20 and can be purchased here:

RUSH Upgrade:

US Expedited Shipping:

Canadian Expedited Shipping:

Alternately, to avoid the cost of these upgrades, you can request a free printable "custom gift is on the way" certificate to give until your custom piece arrives.

Due to the overwhelming amount of emails, I have had to initiate shop hours. You can expect all messages to be answered during these hours and not when the studio is closed to find some balance between family and work. It may now take up to 48 business hours for a response but I will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that most questions can be answered by reading my policy section. I ask you to please read them first to be able to spend more time in the studio completing orders. I'm sorry but I do not answer questions or take orders over the phone.

Please note: Picking up orders/dropping items off or meeting for the same is not an option. Please know that all items will ship through Canada post.

Monday - Friday 7am-5pm
Saturday and Sunday - Closed
Thank you!

Please note that I will not be able to review the details of your order until it comes up in production. To help expedite your order or avoid delays, please read the descriptions of the items you purchase and provide all needed personalization's within the maximum amount of characters allowed at checkout.

~ Due to the long production times, I ask that you PLEASE read the listings and policies in full before you send messages with questions. You may not know this but I am the 1 and only employee at 2 Sisters Handcrafted. You can read the company story in the "Our Story" section of our shop. This will allow me more time in my studio creating your custom jewelry instead of in the office with my current amount of over 150-200 messages I receive a day. I'm happy to answer any questions that cannot be answered in the listings description or in the policies section. Please refrain from asking if your order is ready yet. It will be ready within the above listed production time and I will absolutely send a message when it's on the way.
Thanks so much for your patience and understanding!
Colleen ;)

I accept Pay Pal as payment in US dollars as I sell internationally. Because I do business around the world and many of my suppliers are in the US, I do charge in US dollars even as a Canadian company. It is the most universally accepted and easily converted currency. Almost all of our supplies have to be purchased from the US and costs are based on the cost of materials so US pricing is accurate. Once your payment has been posted and all details of you personalized piece have been finalized, I will send you a confirmation of your order and let you know when your item has shipped. Any items that I do not receive payment confirmation for will be deleted after 14 days.

Once all details of your custom order are finalized, I can no longer accept any changes or cancelations. Please make your decision to purchase carefully. Because all pieces are made to order and handcrafted, you can expect varying textures, letter line ups to vary and oxidization to be different on every piece. These variations should be considered as adding personality and charm and not as flaws.

Because no returns can be made on your purchase, please allow me the opportunity to help you with any question or concerns you may have before you finalize your payment. My first priority is always to have you as happy with your handcrafted piece as I am to make it.

All items will be shipped through Canada Post, uninsured and do not include tracking. Please message me if you would like priority shipping, insurance or if you have a special timeline in mind. A shipping upgrade can be arranged at an additional charge depending on your situation.
Picking up orders or meeting for pic-ups is not an option. To allow me more time in the studio completing orders in an effort to cut down on production times, postal delivery of your pieces is the only option.

Although it rarely happens to have a package lost in the mail, replacement costs will need to be covered by you, the purchaser should this happen. I will be able to provide proof of shipment.
I cannot guarantee the amount of time it will take for the post office to deliver your piece. Once it leaves my studio it is unfortunately out of my hands. If you choose to not purchase expedited shipping with tracking, I will not be able to tell where your package is or how long it will take to arrive other than the basic guidelines the post office offers.

Standard 5-6 day expedited shipping is available here:

US shipping upgrade:

Canadian shipping upgrade:

This option also includes tracking and insurance.

**Please note that you, the buyer is responsible for any and all duties, fees, taxes and customs charges that may be incurred. These charges are initiated by your countries border control and have nothing to do with my shop nor can I know when or if they will be applied as they do not always apply.

Refunds and Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of my pieces, no refunds or exchanges can be made once your order begins production. If your order has not been completed but supplies have been ordered, a restocking fee will be will be removed from any refunds for incomplete orders. The minimum restocking fee is $10 and will go up depending on the nature of the order.

2 Sisters will not replace any lost or broken pieces due to an accident or normal wear and tear. Sterling silver is soft and somewhat delicate. It should be removed when sleeping, showering and swimming as well as when playing sports or in any other situation where your piece may be tugged on or in contact with lotions or chemicals.
Sometimes a bracelet may have been ordered in the wrong size. Please note our bracelets are not adjustable unless they specify this in the listing. The cost to resize our spinning message bracelet is $40 to replace the clasp, the leather and time to do the work. If the leather does not need to be replaced after cutting it out of the clasp, a $20 refund will be issued after the resizing fee is paid in full.

All items will be shipped to the address you have registered on your 2 Sisters account. If you require your item to be shipped to another address, it is your responsibility to request it at the time of purchase clearly messaged in the note to seller section at checkout. All packages are shipped with Canada Post standard shipping. If you require a tracking number or would like insurance on your package, let me know before you finalize your purchase and an upgraded shipping charge can be applied to your account.

Please allow me the opportunity to help you with any questions or concerns you may have before finalizing your purchase. I will do everything I can to ensure you are happy with your decision in choosing my shop, 2 Sisters, for your personalized pieces of jewelry or accessories.

* Should you have any problems with your piece upon it's arrival please contact me and allow me the opportunity to fix the issue if possible within 4 weeks of delivery.

Print & Handwriting Jewelry

Print Jewelry -

Fingerprint, hand and foot print, paw print, nose print and lip prints can be taken in 2 different ways: with a moldable clay option that gives you a 3 dimensional finished piece to scale or an inkless printmaking option. Both are non toxic and safe for use with infants to adults but not to be consumed.
Each piece will be created with your actual prints either mailed, scanned or emailed to me, depending on the process. This is the perfect way to keep these prints close to your heart forever.
Please read your listing carefully to be sure you are aware of which process you have purchased. Each process has it's own set of instructions and guidelines. All the details for your listing will be in the individual listing you've purchased or are considering purchasing.

Jewelry Handwriting -

Handwriting jewelry is made from yours or a loved ones handwriting for many different reasons. I have created memorial pieces with the writing of a loved one who has passed and pieces as gifts for mom's and dad's with a message from their young children. Whatever the reason, these pieces will be cherished as they are truly one of a kind keepsakes. Handwriting or drawings/artwork will be scanned into my computer and scaled to fit the piece you have chosen. The smaller the piece you choose, the less amount of handwriting I would recommend for best visibility. I also recommend using a black marker, sharpie or ink pen if possible on a white or light background. However, I know sometimes we don't have the option to choose so I will do the best with the message you send. All handwritten messages should be sent to and have your name or order number clearly labled on the paper with the message so it does not get mixed up with someone else's.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Each piece is handcrafted and hand stamped by me. I will take extra care in ensuring your piece is beautiful and something I would be happy to wear myself to promote my shop. However, hand stamping is never exact and some variation in letter alignment, stamping depth, oxidization and colour or texturing are inevitable. I purposely choose to finish my pieces in an approachable, rustic and everyday way. With all fine silver pieces you will see some lines, creases, dents and dimples. I love the natural look of the metal and choose not to over polish or smooth your piece. The less I can do by machinery the better. There's nothing like working with metal by hand.

Sterling silver is a relatively soft metal and will scratch and tarnish over time. How quickly this happens depends on how you wear your jewelry and your own body chemistry. This is expected and adds to the artisan, handcrafted quality of your piece. Pieces that include swarovski crystal charms will also add scratches to the soft metal. Again this will blend in with more wear and be less obvious over time. Please view these variations as personality and added interest and not as a flaw. No other person on earth will have exactly the same piece as you and this is why you have chosen a piece from 2 Sisters, for it's unique, custom, artisan quality.

I Recycle:

I love to recycle when possible and so all leathers used are new but recycled. I rescue and purchase small cuts that cannot be used by a local artist and use them for my jewelry. The quality is outstanding and we help by using every piece. Our leather cords are new and purchased from a premium US supplier. Not only do we believe in no waste but we use only by-product leather. This means the animal is first farmed for it's meat and then also used for it's hide. This is more expensive but the premium quality and responsible consumerism is well worth it!! Some of the silver I use is also recycled when possible and all precious silver and bronze pieces are 100% recycled and eco-friendly.  Even the carbon I use to fire my solid bronze pieces in is made from recycled coconut shell shavings. I always try for eco-friendly materials and packaging. Our marketing material is printed on recycled paper and I would encourage you to re-use our packaging as our cotton gift bags are great for holding business cards, cosmetics, coins and trinkets.

About the Leather:

We choose to purchase ethically farmed bi-product leather from the USA and Italy. Bi-product leather is first used for it's meat and then used for it's hide. This responsible use of the animal is more expensive, but we feel it's well worth it. Not only is it morally and environmentally responsible, it's also the softest, most beautiful and strong leather you'll find. There are no harsh dyes or formaldehyde used. In fact, all of our leather uses natural vegetable dyes for a luscious, vintage inspired look.

Our Donations:

In 2009, Our oldest daughter became very ill and required an extended stay at the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital. Although we were told to prepare for the worst, Taya overcame her illness. We thank the doctors, nurses and health care providers everyday for for all they have done for our family. Because of them, Taya is now a happy and healthy little girl. Because of this, children's charities are very close and dear to our heart which is why 2 Sisters Handcrafted donates a portion of all profits to local children's charities including The Toronto Sick Kids Hospital. We thank you for your support. Not only does your piece look good but it feels good to know it gives back!
